Booking a Ceremony

We would be delighted if you chose to share you special day with us at  The Guildhall.

The first step to arranging your ceremony is to get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.  You can do this by email to , by calling us on 01297 445175, or in person at the Town Council offices.  Please have in mind a selection of dates for your ceremony. 

Once we have confirmed that The Guildhall is available for one or more of your chosen dates, you need to contact the Dorset Registration Service.  It is your responsibility to make arrangements with the Dorset Registrars and to meet any and all legal requirements for your ceremony.

Once you have booked a date and time with the Dorset Registrars, we ask you to complete a booking form for your chosen venue and return to us with a £50 deposit to secure your booking.  If we do not receive your completed booking form and deposit payment, we cannot hold the date and time for any longer than six weeks.  The booking form needs to be with us as soon as possible and full payment for the hire of the venue must be paid at least one month prior to the ceremony date.

Please note that your deposit payment is non-refundable.

We are now able to take bookings for ceremonies in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
