New Committee and Sub-Committee Structure for Lyme Regis Town Council

At the Lyme Regis Town Council Full Council meeting held on Wednesday 26th May 2010 members resolved to trial a new structure for the Council's committees and sub-committees.  This new arrangement will see the Policy Committee becoming the Strategy & Policy Committee with a new Operational Management Sub-Committee to deal with much of the day-to-day running of the Council.  Additionally the Community Plan Implementation Committee will become the Community Development Partnership Committee, a new title to reflect community involvement in this committee's meetings.  The format of working groups will change and the Tourism & Advertising Sub-Committee will now report directly to Full Council.  You can download a chart of the new committee structure here and a list of chairmen and members will be available shortly.
