Biography
I moved to Lyme Regis in July 2004 following on from my initial visit in January of that same year. I fell instantly in love with Lyme and nothing has happened to change that. It's the only place I had ever been where I instantly wanted to live.
Being here changed my life in many ways. For instance, I found myself on stage, acting and even singing in various productions. I authored a few novels including three Sherlock Holmes pastiches set in Lyme and a trilogy of comedies, mostly set in Lyme. Also found myself, 'performing' my poetry on various occasions.
Along with these pursuits and pleasures, I wanted to try and give something back to this town that had been so welcoming towards me. To that end, I was elected to the Town Council in May 2019 (together with my partner, Gill) and have really enjoyed my time as a councillor. It's not always been easy, but I believe I can play a vital role in the future stewardship of Lyme Regis. After all, we all love Lyme and I am proud to serve with fellow councillors who share my love of the town. My passion for this town and its people will hopefully never abate.
