Job Vacancies

Enforcement Officer

Full-time – up to five days a week, working between 27 hours a week in the winter and 47 hours a week in the summer.

These roles include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Salary: SCP 18-21 (£31,537-£33,143), plus enhancements for anti-social hours

This role involves the patrolling of car parks and open spaces, enforcing dog control orders and parking regulations, and liaising with the police.

The successful applicant should have physical fitness, possess practical common sense, be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and have good communication skills.

Applicants need to note the council is in the process of seeking Community Safety Accreditation Scheme status. This means there are likely to be amendments to the job description, a closer working relationship with the police, a requirement for police vetting, additional training, and the probability that the job title will change to reflect its purpose.

For an application pack email adrianne.mullins@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk or download a pack below.

For more information about the role, contact operations manager Sam O’Connell on 01297 445175 or sam.oconnell@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk, or town clerk John Wright on john.wright@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk.

Previous applicants need not apply.

The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 1 May.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 7 May.
