Full-time – up to five days a week, working between 27 hours a week in the winter and 47 hours a week in the summer

Part-time – up to three days a week, working between 13.5 hours a week in the winter and 23.5 hours in the summer

The successful applicants should have physical fitness, possess practical common sense, be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and have good communication skills.

Applicants need to note the council is in the process of seeking Community Safety Accreditation Scheme status. This means there are likely to be amendments to the job description, a closer working relationship with the police, a requirement for police vetting, additional training, and the probability that the job title will change to reflect its purpose.
