Finance Assistant/Assistant Finance Manager

Part-time/Full-time, 30 to 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Salary: SCP 4-19 (£18,933 to £25,481)

A vacancy has arisen in the finance team. The successful applicant will work alongside the finance manager to manage the council’s accounts, budgets and financial affairs.

The post is suitable for either someone experienced in finance who could take on the assistant manager role, or someone looking to embark on a career in finance. This could be a great opportunity for a school or college leaver.

The successful applicant must be willing to learn and be prepared to undertake training. In addition, they must be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude.
