Amenities’ Assistant

Fixed term initially until the end of October 2023

Working Saturdays from 3pm to 9pm

Salary: £11.42 per hour

This role involves managing the council’s amenities’ facility in the Lister Gardens, taking payment, and issuing tickets and equipment for mini golf, putting green and table tennis

There are set hours but there may be the possibility of other shifts to cover colleague absence

Evening Seafront Attendant

Fixed term, 10 July to 10 September

Variable days, including weekends

Working three or four days a week, between 2pm and 11pm (times vary)

Salary: Between £11.42 and £13.95 per hour, depending on the shift time

The council is looking for two evening seafront attendants.

This role involves caretaking of the seafront and other areas, keeping them clean and clear of litter, providing a uniformed presence on the seafront, locking of Marine Parade toilets, and patrolling the gardens, beaches and seafront to assist in the prevention of anti-social behaviour.

We are looking for people with practical common sense, an ability to work on their own initiative, and the willingness to work in all weather conditions.
