Permits

Parking permits are available for residents, non-residents and holiday accommodation, to be used in Woodmead car park, Hill Road.

We also offer parking concessions for Lyme Regis residents, allowing free parking in all three of our car parks at certain times of the year.

Woodmead permits 

Permits valid from 1 April 2021 will be available from 15 March 2021

These permits allow holders to park at Woodmead car park at any time of the year and they run from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022. Permits are as follows:

  • Residents - £175.00
  • Non-residents - £400.00
  • Holiday accommodation - £700.00

Residents must provide the vehicle registration document and a council tax bill showing the same Lyme Regis address to obtain the discounted rate.

Non-resident and resident permits will display the vehicle registration number, and holiday accommodation permits will display the name of the property.

Resident concessions' permit - 2020-2021

The Free winter parking is to be extended until end of day on 16 May 2021

This permit is available to Lyme Regis residents, offering free parking at Woodmead, Cabanya and Monmouth Beach car parks at set periods.

Due to Covid-19 if you have a resident concessions' permit from 2019 - 2020 and you have not changed your vehicle please continue to use it as it will be rolled over to the 2020 - 2021 permit. If you have changed your vehicle or have not had a concessions' permit before please scan your council tax bill and your DVLA V5 document (both showing the same Lyme Regis address)  and email to enquiries@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk. Your permit will be processed and posted out to you as soon as possible.

The following concessions apply:

  • Free winter parking – 1 November 2020 to 8 April 2021 to be extended until end of day on 16 May 2021
  • Shoppers’ parking – All year, 8am -10.30am and 4pm - 6pm (Woodmead only)
  • Summer evening parking – 9 April 2021 to 31 October 2021, 6pm - 9pm
