Grants

We provide grants to local groups and organisations for community-based projects and venues.

Term Grants

The town council has £100,000 available each year to meet requests for revenue funding from Lyme Regis organisations whose functions and services are important to the community and its wellbeing.

Applications have now closed for 2025/26 to 2029/31.

Community Grants

The community fund provides grants of up to £1,000 for capital projects that help and support the community.

The town council has £15,000 available in 2026-27 to meet grant requests for capital projects that help and support the community.

Grants can be used for the purchase of materials and equipment, or the provision of a service that makes Lyme Regis a better place to live, work and play

Applications will only be considered from non-profit making organisations who do not provide grants or donate monies to others, and funding cannot be used for retrospective expenditure

Organisations are invited to submit proposals for funding of up to £1,000 for the 2026/27 year, by completing the online form. If you are unable to complete the form online, the application form can be downloaded below.

Large Capital Grants

This is a new grant pot for 2025-26. The council has £25,000 available each year to provide grants of between £1,000 and £12,500 for capital projects that help and support the community. Applications can be made in April and October each year and on each occasion, £12,500 will be available.
