Grants

We provide grants to local groups and organisations for community-based projects and venues.

Term Grants

The town council has £100,000 available each year to meet requests for revenue funding from Lyme Regis organisations whose functions and services are important to the community and its wellbeing.

Applications have now closed for 2025/26 to 2029/31.

Community Grants

The community fund provides grants of up to £1,000 for capital projects that help and support the community.

Community grants have now been awarded for 2026-27.

Large Capital Grants

The town council has £10,000 available to meet grant requests for capital projects that help and support the community.

Organisations are invited to submit proposals for funding between £1,000 and £10,000, to be spent in 2026-27.

Grants can be used for the purchase of materials and equipment, or the one-off provision of a service that makes Lyme Regis a better place to live, work and play.

Applications will only be considered from non-profit making organisations and funding cannot be used for retrospective expenditure or to pay off debts.

Applications must be returned by midday on Tuesday 5 May 2026.
