Help shape the future of housing in Lyme Regis

Help shape the future of housing in Lyme Regis

The Lyme Regis Community Land Trust (LRCLT), Dorset Council and Dorset Community Action have launched an important Housing Needs Survey to help shape the future of housing in our town.

Running until midnight on Sunday 12 October 2025, the survey is designed to give residents, families, and workers with local connections the chance to share their views on what kind of housing Lyme Regis really needs.

For many in our community, finding suitable housing is becoming increasingly difficult. Young people are struggling to move out of the family home, families are living in overcrowded conditions, and older residents often find it hard to access housing that meets their needs.

By completing this anonymous survey, you will provide vital evidence to help plan for affordable homes in Lyme Regis, homes that truly reflect the needs of local people. Your feedback will also support conversations with decision-makers about the kind of housing developments our town should prioritise.

The survey is open to anyone with a local connection - whether through living, working, or having family in Lyme Regis. It only takes a few minutes to complete, but the impact could last for generations.

Deadline to complete the survey is: 12 October 2025

Complete the survey online here: Lyme Regis Housing Needs Survey - Dorset Council - Citizen Space

Completed paper copies of the survey can be left at Waffle Lyme Regis in a sealed envelope.
