EACH November, the people of Lyme Regis come together to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
The Royal British Legion (RBL) is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance, and each year the town joins the nation in observing Remembrance Tide with ceremonies, services and acts of tribute across several days.

Lest We Forget
The town council wishes to extend its thanks to the Lyme Regis branch of the Royal British Legion, St Michael’s Parish Church, and the many local volunteers who help coordinate and take part in Lyme Regis’s Remembrance Tide events each year.
“When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today.”
