TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE OF VARIOUS ROADS, LYME REGIS
DORSET COUNCIL has made a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 23 October 2023 between 0900 and 1600 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24 October 2023.
This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on CLAPPENTAIL LANE, LYME REGIS between its junction with B3165 and Clappentail Cottage, as indicated by signs on site.
[2] To impose a temporary road closure on ROMAN ROAD, LYME REGIS between its junction with B3165 and Coach House, as indicated by signs on site.
[3] To impose a temporary parking restriction on the following roads as indicated by signs on site; B3165 - Clappentail Lane - Roman Road.
[4] To impose a temporary clearway on the following roads as indicated by signs on site; B3165 - Clappentail Lane - Roman Road. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.
