A catalytic converter theft occurred in the Lyme Regis area, between the evening of Sunday 16 October and the morning of Monday 17 October. Catalytic converters are stolen due to the value of the precious metals they contain. They are often cut off using a grinder type tool and this can take seconds.
Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police, at the time on 101, or call 999 if you believe a crime is in progress.
