Important Update on the MUGA

signage in place at the MUGA facility on Anning Road

We are very disappointed to report that the newly installed Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) has been damaged following a night of anti-social behaviour. As a result, the facility had to remain closed this morning whilst the rubbish and debris was removed.

Although the MUGA is now reopen, it will have to be closed for repairs, and we will share the schedule for these repairs as soon as possible.

As a result of the anti-social behaviour the facility will be locked at dusk each evening, and reopened at 8.00am each morning, in line with the warning signs already in place.

👉 If this was you, or your child, we urge you to come forward and apologise for the damage caused.

This behaviour cannot be tolerated. It is unfair that the actions of a minority have spoiled a fantastic facility for the whole community, and it is also unfair on the residents living nearby.

The MUGA was created as a safe, fun space for everyone to enjoy, and we remain committed to making sure it serves that purpose.
