Local Government Transparency Code
The Local Government Transparency Code requires town and parish councils which have a gross annual income or expenditure (whichever is higher) exceeding £200,000 to publish certain information to ensure local people can now see and access data covering; how money is spent, use of assets, decision making and issues important to local people.
In accordance with the code, Lyme Regis Town Council makes the following information available:

Grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations
The council provides various grants to local organisations. The council awards community grants of up to £1,000 annually, and large capital grants of up to £12,500 twice a year. The council also awards term grants, which are for revenue funding over the council term, typically five years. The council also awards one-off funding in special circumstances, and other grants exist for ongoing services.

Organisation chart
The council has an organisation chart which includes every member of staff at all levels. The chart includes each employee's grade, their job title, whether they are permanent or temporary staff, their contact details, their salary bracket and the maximum salary for the grade. It does not include the local authority department and team as this is not relevant in our organisation.

There are no staff who are union representatives and no spending on unions.

There is one employee whose remuneration this year is at least £50,000. The town clerk's salary scale is spinal column point 43 to 47 (£54,495-£59,012). The town clerk is paid at spinal column point 47.
There are no employees whose salaries are £150,000 or more.
No employees have received bonuses or 'benefits in kind'.

Fraud
In 2024-25 and so far in 2025-26, the council has never had to use powers under the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud (Power to Require Information) (England) Regulations 2014, or similar powers
There have been no employees undertaking investigations and prosecutions of fraud and there are no professionally accredited counter fraud specialists.
There has been no spend by the council on the investigation and prosecution of fraud and no fraud cases investigated.
