Dorset Council Library Service Public Consultation

Dorset Council Library Service Public Consultation

On 29 September, Dorset Council launched the second phase of public consultation to inform how they develop and deliver our library service in the future: https://news.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/2022/09/29/dorset-council-launches-second-consultation-to-shape-the-future-of-the-library-service the campaign is called Let’s Talk Libraries. Let’s Talk Libraries

The first phase of consultation received an overwhelming response and they listened to views shared and have developed a draft Dorset Council Library Strategy, with the mission: To Inspire, Connect and Enable our communities through our services.

As part of the consultation, they are looking for ways they can continue to join up and complement delivery of shared priorities across services and sectors, utilising libraries to maximise our reach and impact in communities and would value your thoughts. Please share your views through their public consultation survey: https://consultation.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/consultation-and-engagement/lets-talk-libraries-phase-two-public-consultation
