TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS, LYME REGIS
Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 2000 and 0600 on 06 October 2025 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 09 October 2025.
This Notice will enable Openreach safe access to carry out fibre cabling works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, LYME REGIS; A3052, LYME REGIS, between its junction with Pooles Court and 11 Church Street, a distance of approximately 200 metres.
MONMOUTH STREET, LYME REGIS, in its entirety.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.
