TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS, LYME REGIS FOR CAROLS AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE
Dorset Council has issued an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use of the following roads by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles, to facilitate a public event on the highway.
On Tuesday 23 December 2025 between 1830 and 2030, the following restrictions will be imposed:
Temporary road closures on:
[1] Pound Street between its junction with Cobb Road and its junction with Broad Street.
[2] Broad Street in its entirety.
There will be no signed alternative route for traffic on this occasion.
