Biography
Cara Austin joined the council as administrative and community engagement assistant in May 2022. She is part of the reception team and is the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the council office. Other responsibilities include beach hut bookings, issuing parking permits, room hire, and engaging with key stakeholders, residents and businesses on matters of local importance and help deliver the council’s community engagement strategy.
