Biography
Lewis Grattan joined the council as a seafront attendant in April 2026, although he had previously worked for the council as a temporary cleansing operative. The seafront attendant is responsible for the caretaking of the seafront, shelters and toilets maintained by the council, including keeping them clean and clear of litter. Other duties include managing access and arrangements for seafront events, managing beach wheelchairs, assisting with beach hut keys, and providing information to the public.
