Biography
Mark Green joined the council as deputy town clerk in July 2015. He deputises for the town clerk and
acts as the council’s principal officer in his absence. He manages many of the town council’s major
projects and responsibilities include leases and licences, managing land and assets, and highways.
The deputy town clerk is the lead officer for the Planning Committee and Tourism, Community and
Publicity Committee.
