Southwest Water have notified us of a scheduled clean taking place at the wet well at Gun Cliff Pumping Station next week Thursday 4 December 2025.
The residents of Lyme Regis may see 1 x tanker, 1 x vactor (vehicle that looks like a tanker) and associated teams. 'The community of Lyme Regis may also notice additional noise and bad odours in the area although access along the front will remain for pedestrians with the affected area being barriered off.'
The works are weather dependant and a decision will be made on Wednesday afternoon. 3 December, to confirm whether the work will go ahead, following this meeting.
