Lyme Regis Town Council moves toward its net-zero goals, our external works team put cordless technology to the test, trialling battery-powered tools from STIHL GB.
STIHL GB is a leading name in professional landscaping and forestry equipment. Founded in 1978, STIHL GB is the UK subsidiary of the globally renowned STIHL Group.
Our team had the opportunity to experience the performance, runtime and ergonomics of STIHL's battery range, putting the equipment to the test in the Lyme Regis Cemetery.
By trialling these technologies, the council is exploring cleaner, more efficient ways to maintain our public spaces, reducing both emissions and noise, whilst aligning with our climate ambition.
Trials like this allow us to evaluate greener ways of working and build towards a more sustainable future for Lyme Regis.
