PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF JERICHO, LYME REGIS
Dorset Council have made us aware of an application from South West Water to close JERICHO, LYME REGIS between its junction with Woodmead Road and Lymbrook Cottages, a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The closure has been requested to allow South West Water to carry out trial holes which will require hand digging due to location. These works are programmed to commence from 26 January 2026 until 06 February 2026.
South West Water will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works. The following map shows the extent of the closure.
