PROPOSED TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER OF WOODMEAD ROAD, LYME REGIS
Dorset Council have advised us of an application from Southwest Water Authority to restrict parking and waiting on WOODMEAD ROAD, LYME REGIS between its junction with Windsor Terrace and number 17, a distance of approximately 60 metres.
The restriction has been requested to allow South West Water to carry out construction works to enlarge an existing underground screen chamber, build a new flow control chamber, interconnecting pipework and intersecting manholes.
These works are programmed to commence from 12 October 2026 until 30 April 2027.
South West Water will publicise the restriction in a number of ways: They will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works.
