Two students from the Woodroffe School have joined the town council team for their work experience placement this summer.
Gaining first-hand insight into the daily operations of the council's external works team.
Harry Broom and Jenson Riding have been working alongside the council's experienced outdoor team, supporting with gardening, grounds maintenance and general upkeep tasks across the town. From weeding and watering in Langmoor and Lister gardens to helping with repair jobs and site maintenance, the pair have embraced the hands-on experience with enthusiasm and energy.
The town council team were delighted to welcome the students on board and commend their positive attitude and work ethic.
Opportunities like this offer young people a valuable chance to explore careers in local government and community facing roles.
