Bus stop at The Square gets a much-needed makeover

two council workers cleaning and painting the glass bus stop

The Square bus stop at the bottom of town, a well-used and highly visible entrance to the seafront for visitors to the town, has received a much-needed refurbishment.

Over time, exposure to the elements had left the bus shelter looking tired and weather-worn. After works are completed this week, following a thorough clean, repaint and general spruce-up, the structure will be brought back to life, looking clean, fresh, and more welcoming for both residents and visitors waiting for their next journey out of town.

This improvement is part of the council's wider commitment to keeping the town's public spaces tidy, functional and visually appealing.

The Square stop is one of the first things visitors and residents see when arriving to the town by bus.

A big thank you goes to our maintenance team who have carried out the work.

Keep an eye out for more local improvements as we continue working to keep Lyme Regis looking its best.
