Find your people, find your passion, through the local u3a

A local u3a group on a recent visit to the town mill

THERE are over 30 groups covering a wide range of skills and interests available through the local u3a.

If you’re newly retired, semi‑retired, or new to Lyme Regis, the Lyme Regis & Surrounding Area u3a is a good way to meet people, try new things, and feel part of the community.

Members come from all sorts of backgrounds, with many joining because they’re new to the area and others who just want to make life a little more interesting.

The groups include craft and chat, history, science and learning groups, language groups, Scottish dancing, Mediterranean culture and cuisine, and making music – Rockstar Musicians.

There are informal drop-in, breakfast and lunch groups and monthly talks on a variety of topics.

The group is happy to welcome new members who would like to start new groups or expand existing ones.
