Little Green Change are springing into life

Little Green Change volunteers planting the daffodil bulbs

ALMOST 300 daffodil bulbs have been planted in Langmoor and Lister Gardens, which will come to life each spring.

The King Alfred Daffodil bulbs were planted along the pathway leading to the woodland walk by People and Places, a business growth and optimisation consultancy, and Lyme Regis organisation Little Green Change.

With the support and permission of Lyme Regis Town Council, members of both organisations held a team building session carrying out the planting, which will provide additional colour and nectar sources.

Clare Matheson, founder and director of Little Green Change said: "It's wonderful when we partner with businesses like For People and Places looking to deliver socially and environmentally responsible changes that will benefit both people and nature.

“Daffodils are much loved by adults and children alike and are an additional source of nectar and pollen for a variety of important pollinating insects.”

“When For People and Places suggested a gardening session for members of their team in the town, we jumped at the chance to help organise this for them.”

“A huge thank you to them and to Lyme Regis Town Council for identifying a suitable area for this future floral display."

Other businesses looking to team up with Little Green Change to deliver team building or volunteering sessions for their staff should check out Little Green Change's website and/or get in contact with them directly via littlegreenchange.com.
