On Saturday 8 August, Weymouth and West Dorset RNLI Lifeguards will be taking on a unique charity challenge, raising vital funds for the RNLI.
To celebrate 25 years of RNLI Lifeguards, a team of 6 local lifeguards will be swimming an incredible 25km from Chesil Beach to Lyme Regis in time to start work at 10am.
They will start swimming in the early hours of the morning, swimming through the night to make it to work on time.
This challenge is designed to highlight the dedication and resilience of RNLI Lifeguards while raising vital funds that will help the charity continue protecting those who enjoy our beaches and coastline.
