AN election will be held to fill the town councillor vacancy as two people have been nominated.
Dorset Council has confirmed the poll will go ahead on Thursday 26 May and the two candidates are Mark Hix and Philip May.
The vacancy arose following the death of Cllr Stan Williams in February but there were no nominations the first time around so it was re-advertised.
Mark Hix lives in Old Lyme Hill, Charmouth, and Philip May, who describes himself as a Lyme Area Energy Champion, lives in Colway Lane, Lyme Regis.
