Upcoming road closures on Coombe Street, Mill Green and Hill Road
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along the roads as follows:
COOMBE STREET, between Gosling's Bridge and its junction with Mill Green, a distance of approximately 10 metres.
MILL GREEN, between its junction with Coombe Street and its junction with Hill Road, a distance of approximately 10 metres.
HILL ROAD, between its junction with Mill Green and 2, Wagtail Cottages, a distance of approximately 30 metres.
Access will be maintained for residents.
It will come into operation on 12 January 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 January 2026.
This Order will enable South West Water, safe access to carry out trial holes which will require hand digging due to location.
