A new chapter begins for former Three Cups Hotel

AN iconic Lyme Regis landmark is about to begin a new chapter.

Contracts have now been exchanged on the former Three Cups Hotel for the long-awaited redevelopment of the historic Broad Street building.

The project will be delivered in partnership with local property development team, Jim Larcombe and Phil Loaring of Cobb View Developments Ltd, bringing together local knowledge and extensive industry experience to support the future of this landmark site.

Lyme Regis-born Jim Larcombe and experienced building contractor Phil Loaring, will work together in partnership to deliver a comprehensive programme of renovation and redevelopment of the existing building, working alongside Palmers Brewery who will regenerate the rear of the site.

A spokesperson for Palmers’ property agent, Chesters Harcourt said: “This marks an exciting new chapter for the historic site, with plans focused on preserving the heritage and character of the building while ensuring it can once again make a positive contribution to the town centre.

“Further updates will be shared as the project progresses, with the hope that the community will follow and support this exciting opportunity for the town.”
