Dorset Council Youth Workers will be out and about this summer, starting from this evening, 1st August between 6pm and 8pm near the harbour. They will be easily recognisable as they will be wearing fluorescent yellow Dorset Council backpacks. They will be available for anyone between the ages of 11 and 18, to talk to.
They will also be at Lyme Waffle, 37 Broad Street, Lyme Regis DT7 3QF on the following dates: Wednesday 6th August between 3pm and 5pm and Tuesday, 26th August between 3pm and 5pm as well as Anning Road Play Park on Wednesday 20th August between 2pm and 4pm.
Waffle Lyme has kindly offered 1 cold drink with 10% off per person during your visit with the Youth Workers on 6th and 26th August.
The Youth Workers will be actively exploring the spaces and situations where young people may be out and about, assessing if any young people may be at risk of harm. They work closely with partner organisations to ensure young people get the right support.
