TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF COLWAY LANE, LYME REGIS
Dorset Council has made us aware of an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles, cyclists, horse riders and pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along COLWAY LANE, LYME REGIS between its junction with Windsor Terrace and the entrance to Camellia House, a distance of approximately 260 metres.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on 05 October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 October 2026.
This Order will enable South West Water, safe access to carry out trial holes to locate existing service depths.
