The Lyme Regis Society presents a talk on the 12th Battalion The Devonshire Regiment in Normandy 6 June to 2 September 1944, by Richard Salt.
On Tuesday 23 September, 2pm at Woodmead Halls, you can learn all about the regiment with a descriptive talk on the D-Day landings, the defence of Pegasus Bridge and the Eastern flank of the Normandy Bridgehead including the breakout to the River Seine.
All are welcome, visitors entrance costs £3.00 and card payments are available.
Members of the society have free entry.
